Encouragement Friday

So, a quick overview: Encouragement Friday is just a day to be Encouraged by the Word of God and by others. So, today's verse is Philippians 4:6, "Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks. (GWT)" Jesus tells us not to worry about anything as well. The world has nowhere to go when things get hard...but we have somewhere we can go when we need help...we don't go to the world, we go to the one who is greater than he that is in the world. We go to God. He hears us when we make our requests known to him (last week's verse). So whenever things get hard, count your blessings, and make your request known to God, and He will hear you. This song encourages us that even though hard times do come, we know that we are a child of God. We know where we're found, so even though hard times do come, we'll keep dancing because we know that God has it for the good of those who love him and those called according to his purpose.
