Prayer Group
This is a group where members can ask members for prayer in their life, share praise reports, and where members can join together and pray for one another. Prayer is an excellent thing, and I want to give an example of what can happen when the Christian youth prays. “And the Lord (Jesus) said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Luke 22:31-32

Encouragement Friday
So, a quick overview: Encouragement Friday is just a day to be Encouraged by the Word of God and by others. So, today's verse is Philippians 4:6, "Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks. (GWT)" Jesus tells us not to worry about anything as well. The world has nowhere to go when things get hard...but we have somewhere we can go when we need help...we don't go to the world, we go to the one who is greater than he that is in the world. We go to God. He hears us when we make our requests known to him (last week's verse). So whenever things get hard, count your blessings, and make your request known to God, and He will hear you. Our song of the week is Move by MercyMe:
"I'm not about to give up
Because I heard you say
There's gonna be brighter days
There's gonna be brighter days
I wont stop, I'll keep my head up
No, I'm not here to stay
There's gonna be brighter days
There's gonna be brighter days
I just might bend but I won't break
As long as I can see your face
When life won't play along
And right keeps going wrong
And I can't seem to find my way
I know where I am found
So I won't let it drag me down
Oh, I'll keep dancing anyway
I'm gonna move, move
I'm gonna move, move
I'm gonna move (I'm gonna move)"
This song encourages us that even though hard times do come, we know that we are a child of God. We know where we're found, so even though hard times do come, we'll keep dancing because we know that God has it for the good of those who love him and those called according to his purpose. I hope you've been encouraged today! God bless you!

Encouragement Friday
Hi everyone! Welcome to Encouraging Friday! Just so you know what this is, this is a day to gain encouragement from the Word of God and from others. God knew 6,000 years ago that we would have troubles...so he wrote his Word. What we're going do every Friday is take a verse from the Bible, and maybe a song or something else and I'll post it here. But you can help. If God speaks to you about something that encourages you, please feel free to comment on this or other posts and post it. So here's our verse for today:
Psalm 55:17 ”Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.”
I need this. I don't know about you, but I sometimes feel like if I pray it won't help anything. But I need to remember that when we pray, God does hear our voice and that he knows what we need and will do what's best for us. I found a couple songs I could post...but after praying about it I decided on Josh Wilson's "Fall Apart."
"Why in the world did I think I could
Only get to know You when my life was good
When everything just falls in place
The easiest thing is to give You praise
Now it all seems upside down
'Cause my whole world is caving in
But I feel You now more than I did then
How can I come to the end of me
And somehow still have all I need
God, I want to now You more
Maybe this is how it starts
I find You when I fall apart"
This song is good to hear because it reminds us that God promised that all things work together for good for those who love God and those who are called according to his purpose. One of those good results from trials is that we come closer to God. We find him when we fall apart. To view the album the song comes from on itunes, click here. Another word of encouragement: just a few weeks ago my brother Wyatt was in the hospital and losing blood with a bunch of people praying for him. He was out of the hospital and cured after four days. God truly is good and he does answer prayer. I hope all this encourages you. God bless you!

News Post:
Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a blessed week so far. I know I sometimes get to the end of my rope in just the beginning of the week. I feel like I need some encouragement....really badly. But I forget that there's one place we can go to find that kind of encouragement...especially in the hard times. That place is the Word of God. I often forget that when I have bad days, I need to go to that fountain of encouragement in my time of need. That is the first item of news for Praying-4-You. Now, you can come to that fountain to gain encouragement every Friday...right here on Praying-4-You. We now have Encouragement Fridays. On every Friday, you can come to this website or the Twitter page to gain encouragement from the Word of God, and from others. we also need to remember when we have bad days, we need come to this fountain not only every Friday, but every day.
Our second point of news is that, as you may have already heard, Praying-4-You has a Twitter page! Click the sidebar button that says, "FOLLOW US ON twitter" and you will go to our page...just a reminder.
Our third point of news is that we don't have a Facebook yet...so don't try searching for us. We're hoping to try to do that tomorrow (Lord willing). If not tomorrow, we'll try to get that done soon.
Fourth point of news: There is a radio station called K-Love were you can also put prayer requests and listen to encouraging music. Just go to klove.com.
I think that's all the news for now...remember to come back Friday for some encouragement. God bless!
